How it is calculated
Labour per order = preparation minutes × hourly cost / 60. Unit cost = box + filler + label + tape + labour. Total = unit cost × orders.
Worked example
EUR 0.50 for a box, EUR 0.20 filler, EUR 0.10 label and three minutes at EUR 12/hour total EUR 1.40 per order without tape cost.
Before you calculate
Use the consumed quantity cost of each material per order, not automatically the price of a full bulk pack. The labour field is an hourly cost basis you choose. Keep tax treatment consistent across all amounts.
Interpreting the result
The tool does not automatically add postage, storage, equipment depreciation, taxes or a profit margin. Include such items only through a deliberate compatible cost basis. Changing order volume may change real purchasing and handling costs.
Use the units shown beside each field. Monetary fields labelled EUR stay in euros; changing language does not exchange currencies. Results are estimates under the stated assumptions.
